About this deal

It was first seen on the packaging of the first four blasters released under the N-Strike Elite series. It advertises a firing range of up to ninety feet in the US (compared to the original Elite version's seventy-five feet), or twenty-seven meters (compared to the original Elite version's twenty meters). This mod is a mod I have done twice before, and this third time it turned out better than ever before.

The full image gallery for Firestrike (N-Strike Elite) may be viewed at Firestrike (N-Strike Elite)/Gallery. All of this recent activity on this thread has motivated me to redo this, with the more powerful spring and better adhesives. This is my third firestrike i have modded like this, and I have never had any problems with them staying primed. Most shots fly relatively straight, so you have a decent chance of hitting a human sized target at 10m. It's not screwed on, it's sort of secured to the blaster by plastic, and my main problem is if I did manage to pry it off/chop it off, how would I secure it back on to the plunger?

I tried using the same spring in my Strongarm and just didn't trust it could handle the stress, there is no rubber on the end of the plunger like in the Star Shot.

Even in bright-light conditions, battlers are ready to take on the competition with this compact blaster. You could use your Dremel, or maybe even a small hacksaw, but the bolt cutters are SUPER easy, and I had them in hand. Wrap the plunger head in tape of your choice, I used plumber's teflon tape, but I have used electrical tape in the past, and it works fine. The Nerf Firestrike blaster features a light beam targeting system for pinpoint accuracy, enabling precision targeting. Wrap the soldered connections in electrical tape, to prevent exposed wires from touching, and shorting out the circuit. The Firestrike has the same sort of pathetic focussed LED light as the NF, but instead it is activated by a secondary trigger not unlike that of the Stryfe. The blaster’s compatibility with Nerf Elite darts, designed for increased range and accuracy, ensures that your shots travel farther and hit your target with precision. Test fit it inside the shell, and press the orange aesthetic piece in, to plant it inside the epoxy putty. The blaster originally came in blue, white, gray, and orange but a second color scheme features orange, white, and gray. The trigger and trigger guard are quite small, such that I am unable to spin the Firestrike using the trigger guard.

I've disassembled it before, and have already cut out the peg and removed the air restrictor (which I put back in, because it became more of a liability and I don't want to destroy the internals). The coupler idea probably wouldn't work for most cpvc, but with completely flat couplers it works extremely well.

The Firestrike is a successor to the N-Strike Nite Finder EX-3, and the fourth, and final, iteration of the original Nite Finder. My personal firestrikes use this same spring load and speedloader system, but with quite a bit more dead space.Designed for precision and accuracy, it’s part of the Nerf Elite series, known for its high-quality foam dart blasters.
