Description

The faster nature of the A30 allowed the Monitor 100 to maintain its clarity and speed while being imbued with a bit more warmth and energy making this pairing a truly engaging listen.

My room is a bit small and rectangular so I haven't been able to really play loud but it's more that enough. On the flip side, the A30 is also quiet enough to power more sensitive IEMs without creating an audible hiss while maintaining volume tracking throughout the volume range. In particular, ears trained in product evaluation may be more sensitive to differences in sound than ordinary people. It’s a small trick that really made me happy since I’ll choose orange digits over the default blue ones any day. To have cleaner power going into the DAC circuit, the D30 has an internal PSU that can be connected using the standard IEC power lead. Speakers can only play what the amplifier feeds it, so if they are of sufficient quality, and not so old that they have started to literally start to fail (crossover parts on the majority of consumer speakers have a built-in countdown timer as a consequence of costs saving, they use electrolytic capacitors instead of film capacitors which last longer and have a higher tolerance of variation than any electrolytic capacitor). Just to report an update after a few weeks of listening paired with the DBR-62s, I have to say that is quite amazing the power that this little beast delivers to the speakers without even getting warm after few listening hours. If I decide to keep the Loxjie I might need to get a higher-quality power supply that delivers power as advertised.

Loxjie D30 offers more details, more energetic sound, a much richer selection of inputs, and finally more powerful head-amp.anyone else had the issue where it just starts playing static noise instead of whatever it is you're playing? I was a complete noob one week ago and while this subreddit has been amazing, I'm still a bit lost in all the info.

I'm on the lookout for a tiny speaker amp like this one, but it's a shame about the analog performance. I put in the sensitivity of the 3030i and a distance of 1 meter, with 85 dB SPL (fairly loud) and very generous headroom of 15 dB (extremely loud peaks, but helpful if you listen to quieter stuff like classical or anything with a lot of dynamic range) and got 16 watts. While the soundstage isn’t particularly closed in, the images within the soundstage err closer to the intimate side rather than grandiose.

I was fortunate, however, to have the opportunity to take a closer look at it, and I’m happy to learn that both the size and the rated power outputs are more than meets the eye. Furthermore, the DA-9 also doesn’t have a headphone output section, so the DA-9 is strictly a balanced integrated amplifier with Bluetooth functionality. Recently, we’ve had the privilege to take a closer look at their D30, which we found to be a versatile compact desktop DAC/Amp with sensible features that make it a great desktop control center. Fight misinformation from false prophets (objectivists who split decimal points in APx555 SINAD measurements or talk about double blind tests but never conduct them), sockpuppet reviewers who say everything is good and deserves an award, and religious fervor toward frequency response target curves that seem to change on yearly basis.

Aside from the D30 itself, the package also contains a standard IEC power cord, the Bluetooth aerial, a USB cable, a remote control, and of course the manual and some documentation. Similarly, the A30 also pairs well with headphones that are not overly energetic, so something like the HarmonicDyne Poseidon made for a synergistic pairing.

When the device is first activated, there is a screen that shows the volume level, output mode, input mode, and the sample rate/status of that input.
