About this deal

The fourth lift (which is not recommended) I occasionally use alongside the gable wall for accessing the satellite dish, etc, is always tied into that gable wall and the other two stabilisers used. I know the wide stabilising legs/bars some have are too wide to use in my stairwell (stairs have a half landing - with a ceiling height of I guess 3.

I've bought more sections and extras over time, you can make a narrow tower for tight alleyways, or a square when you have the space. Set of 4 Outriggers for your DIY Aluminium Scaffold Tower, providing extra stability and reassurance. A lot of modern DIY scaffolds are made from high grade aluminium, and this material has its benefits. I can't imagine when more than two lifts would be required, in a typical domestic situation, without being alongside a wall. tower is 'working height' of 7m - feet-off-floor' height 5m - you might manage a bungalow with a 3 or 4m tower.Included in the 7 metre package are two trapdoor platforms, so you don’t have to go looking for planks of the right size. To fight rust and corrosion, the steel rails have all been given a galvanised coating, something that is very much needed considering how much time it’ll spend outside in the British weather.

The tower takes some time to assemble, especially when you haven't done it before, but it is fairly simple. If the tower has the stabiliser bars attached, instead of the wheels, the tower can be used without outriggers, up to the 5m working height. Safe, stable and versatile, this tower will complement any home "tool kit" and is available in four sizes to suit almost every application from decorating your stairs to painting the outside of your house or pruning trees. When you're working at height, it's vital to know that the equipment you're working on is reliable and stable - that's why all of our 7m scaffold towers come from trusted suppliers. Some mention that it's relatively straightforward, while others say that the instructions are vague and the tower takes some time to assemble. Ladders/steps - maybe not using 'properly' - maybe most DIYers don't, so probably a good idea to shell out for a tower. We are a UK based and owned Company who have been trading for many years so this peace of mind is definitely worth having.

Advanced Guard Railing for extra safety, adding to speed of installation and dismantling at working platform level.

Frankly I've been up a couple of DIY towers quite recently and they scared the bejasus out of me because they wobbled around so much (that said I have the same issue with Eurotowers. The platform (I use an intermediate platform when required, or even two on the higher usage) I lift using rope and pulley, one end at a time, within the confines of the tower, while I am outside the tower. One problem is that the assembly instructions are on the base of the platforms - not on a separate instruction sheet - but I managed.

Once set up, the working platform can be height adjusted in increments of 300mm, and the structure can even be used, partially erected, and this gives you a lot of options and outstanding versatility. I also used the pictures from the flyer a lot but it would be nice to have an IKEA type booklet to refer to? I've started to sand down the eaves from the tower which I always hated doing from a ladder - I think that this tower will repay the money spent in no time as I had quotes almost twice the cost of the tower for repainting the eaves etc.I wouldn't touch anything else, I bought an Alto tower few years back but quickly sold it on, nowhere near as good as the Youngman/sbg/boss systems.
