Although Bose is a good company that makes great products I can guarantee there is no comparison to these. As I mentioned above, I reviewed the KANTO TUK last month, and one of the highlights was the build quality and finishing. Moving on, there are small pads included in the packaging which can be stuck to the bottom of the speakers to prevent the speakers from damaging the surface they are on, and to prevent the speakers from being damaged if they are on a rough surface. Automatic standby and power-up mode conserves power when you’re away and continues playback when your music starts playing.
As I was looking for a pair of active speakers, I was recommended the Adam t5v a lot, but thoses Kanto yu4 seems a lot more convenient. The Kanto YU4 with matching S4 stands make an excellent near field setup, without the stands they do a good job as a backup/bedroom or kitchen setup. Hence, for a desk set-up, the YU4s were still able to create a 3D, layered and informative soundstage.
It also has a surprising amount of bass, especially compared to the Miccas (which I own and use in my kitchen) as well as my Jamo C91's and the Pioneer SB21's, all of which have 4 inch drivers.For an experience not requiring the knob to be pressed ten times because you accidentally cycled past your desired input, the remote control can be used.
The space shares a wall with the neighbors, so sadly I won’t be able to play anything very loud, but for that reason sound accuracy and depth at lower volumes are particularly important to me. YU4's 1-inch tweeters are made from silk to deliver a high-frequency range that is bright and refined.I probably put them in terrible positions relative to where I sit at my desk because of my limited space. I don’t want to go down the rabbit hole of spending too much and limited desk space (140cm) sp perhaps something like the Audioengine A2 or Kanto YU2 would be sufficient.
