Toor dal: Since this recipe is all about toor dal, that is what I’ve used. I’ve used 24 Mantra’s organic tur dal. You can use a mix of toor dal, masoor dal, and moong dal. Totally up to you! More spices and herbs: You can also add 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon of amchur powder (skip the lemon juice if adding this) along with other spices. Even 1 teaspoon of crushed kasoori methi can be added towards the end.
