About this deal

I think this problem might only be for the normal vinyl color edition though because people have only posted pictures in their reviews of that pressing (even though the listing is this version). The A-side being the appetizer to the meal that is MM… FOOD is cool, but it feels a lot like the main course. I literally slept on this record for about six instances in my existence, last night I finally heard this record in it's entirety.

MM..Food - Prodavnica muzičkih CD/DVD-eva Beograd MF Doom - MM..Food - Prodavnica muzičkih CD/DVD-eva Beograd

FOOD finds DOOM digging deep into vocal soundbytes related, as well as fitting to his namesake and artistic vision, meticulously building a cohesive album narrative. Production-wise, DOOM utilizes a fine blend of familiar and obscure sample sources, complimentarily working together to both satisfy and intrigue. Food flips countless edible metaphors over hard-hitting, jazzy beats, while never devolving into pointless parody. With culinary references and intricate metaphors at every turn, he creates a unique and immersive world, keeping listeners engrossed in his sonic narrative.

Album, které vyšlo v roce 2004, je směsicí oldschoolových a moderních hiphopových stylů a je plné chytrých textů a beatů. Fantastik wen't bar for bar with Doom and had "Rap Snitch Knishes" looking more like a pivotal issue of Fantastic Four where Marvel's First Family comes into the clutches of Doom, yet somehow miraculously Mr. It's also counterbalanced with some of the best songs MF DOOM has ever done -- "Potholderz,""Deep Fried Frenz,""One Beer,""Rapp Snitch Knishes," etc. As always, some very creative production with many samples taken from monster movie soundtracks, old superhero storytelling LPs, plus some other unrecognizable sources.

Either way it's just a little disjointed; I like it more now than I did when I was younger and deep in my DOOM phase, but I can still remember what was wrong with it then. I appreciate it but most the time I just wish it went straight into Kon Karne, but on listens I do appreciate it, i’m glad it’s there. The captivating opener Beef Rap sets the bar high, as DOOM's intricate rhyme schemes and food-inspired metaphors ignite the senses. DOOM skits are probably the only skits I can take, and that's because they're backed by DOOM's excellent beats, and are therefore much more interesting than normal. Doom's voice lacks the neccessary sarcasm sometimes, the self-absorbed confidence which is neccesary to rhyme nonsense.

Daniel Dumile Thompson was a hip hop recording artist best known for his "super villain" stage persona and unique lyrics. s production on "One Beer" has sonics not to be forgotten which would make any longtime listener petition Doom's Hideout and one of those churches in Notre Dame for another Madvillian team-up. After re-launching his career in the late nineties with a string of singles on Fondle Em Records, leading up to the instant-classic Operation: Doomsday album, MF DOOM relentlessly pushed forward, always innovating along the way, building what has become one of the most storied and revered careers in the world of Hip Hop.

MM..FOOD Lyrics and Tracklist | Genius MF DOOM - MM..FOOD Lyrics and Tracklist | Genius

DOOM's use of obscure samples, haunting melodies, and expertly crafted beats elevates the album to new heights. And my favorite track Kon Karne seamlessly blends darkness and beauty, this haunting track showcases DOOM's ability to create atmospheric landscapes. While it showcases some great stuff off his fingertips, his tongue and lips don't give quite the same levels of pleasure as previous releases.

Its easy to dip in and out of Madvillainy and ignore the rest of the discography, but MF Doom has to be one of the most consistently excellent MCs ever, and MM. Also Rap Snitches Knishes is the best track for just how iconic that sample is, and how the subject matter is still very relevant in rap today. Rhymes are tight as always, well, if you like some sort've important take-home message in your lyrics then I guess this album is as tasty as canned spam.
